Event Description

The word "identity" is something that some take pride in, while for others it is an unbearable burden, a cycle of suffering and hardship that they must carry throughout their lives. Many times, in the name of 'survival' one continues to move forward by hiding their identity and believing it to be 'life' only to find themselves exhausted and regretful on paths that seem impassable. They don't let go of their colourful desires even though it is exhausting. They become fireflies in the dark. At that moment, darkness becomes a celebration, light becomes a celebration. Thus, "Bob Marley from Kodihalli" is a cluster of stories which revolves around very sensitive discrimination of identity. By using Babasaheb Ambedkar's "Waiting for Visa" as a metaphor, the question "Where is he truly trying to enter?" becomes important.
