Event Description

Continuous experimentation with methods and materials brought a new approach to the works of Tridib Bera. Tridib Bera has created his visual world with a distinctive style consisting of solid forms with metallic textures. Commonly found creatures from our surroundings got the chance to live in Tridib Bera's creative expression. The animal sculptures have unique gestures, movements and feelings of sadness and happiness which are very human-like in appearance. Far from the abstract expression, these figures look very close to our lives when they are recreated by beating, welding and assembling the steel rods.

About Tridib Bera:

Tridib Bera is a born sculptor. He was born and brought up in West Bengal. His journey got shaped by his schooling in Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan. He has completed his BF and MA from the same University. He is in practice for the last 18 years and is exhibiting his works nationally and internationally.
