"‘Bol Sakhi’ - a Bharatanatyam & Kathak Duet by Rutuja Marna & Swarashri Shridhar - celebrates the power of female friendship through the inspiring bond of Savitribai Phule and Fatima Sheikh—India’s first female educators who revolutionized education for girls and marginalized communities. 

Taking creative liberty, the artists reimagine their journey: how they met, found common purpose, and supported each other through letters and shared struggles. Using Bharatanatyam and Kathak, the artists depict two distinct voices uniting as one through sollu kattus, padhants, kavits, and a blend of Hindustani and Carnatic music to highlight the beauty of togetherness in driving change.
