Jobeth Warjri engages Lian Dousel in conversation about the horror and the human in Lian’s debut collection, Peace in the Land of the Dead. In the twelve genre-bending stories, Dousel plays with folktales, magic realism and horror, infusing them into the mundane.
Join us for this conversation where Warjri will examine the spectrum of genres and emotions Dousel has touched upon, his processes and inspirations, and what lies in the southern hills of Manipur.
