Ramjee Chandran's curious espionage tale is based on true events in 1980s Delhi. Chandran was a lobbyist in Delhi at the time and set his debut novel in that time. The controversy involved silicon metal, which is used in solar panels, and Rajiv Gandhi championed the cause of producing it indigenously. The story involves tales of controversy told in the most humorous way.
