Event Description

Indian Institute of Cartoonists is organising an exhibition of cartoons by Mr. Malatesh Garadimani at the Indian Cartoon Gallery.

About Mr. Malatesh M. Garadimani

He is a physically challenged artist residing in Ranebennur, Karnataka, India. He was born on 16th April 1980.

Education qualifications: MFA, AM, GD, B.com. Working at present as Fine arts Teacher at Akshara Residential School, Shikaripura.

For the last 18 years, Mr. Malatesh has drawn hundreds of political cartoons on global issues and cartoons on social subjects like world peace, and children’s rights which have rightly caught the imagination of art lovers in India and abroad. He loves photography and practicing it too. He is specialized in dot painting using waste colour papers.

His works have been recognised and been awarded by various Institutes and Government agencies. Prominent among them is Karnataka Government’s state award from art accruement 2018. He is also a recipient of 2 Unique world records, 3 Miracles world records, 4 Limca Book of Records, 2 India Book of Records, more than 20 International cartoon awards, and 12 national and 12 state-level awards.
