Event Description

Indian Institute of Cartoonists is organising a unique exhibition CartoonistsIndia2023 on 6th January 2024 at the cartoon gallery. Publishing an annual periodical titled ‘Cartoonistsindia’ was one of IIC’s prominent objectives. We launched the magazine's first issue last year as part of the 15th anniversary of the Indian Cartoon Gallery. We have received tremendous appreciation through letters and social media messages. As the readers' expectations run high, we felt a great responsibility to publish this second issue, which is just as interesting and thought-provoking as the last.

The unique exhibition will showcase some of the old, new and rare cartoons and photographs which will be featured in this second edition of our magazine. This includes the works of Mario de Miranda, R.K.Laxman, Shankar Pillai, Abu Abraham, Sudhir Dar, Bal Thackeray, B.V.Ramamurthy, Maya Kamath, Paul Fernades, Hemant Morparia, Prriya Raj, Ajit Ninan, Jayanto Banerjee, Alok Norantar, Eskay Sriram, Sudhir Tailang, Madhan, Sukumar, Amal Chakraborty, Talisetty Ramarao.
