Event Description

Discover the magic of fiber turning into yarn.

It is part magic, part skill, part meditation, and an exercise in patience. Hand spinning is what makes Khadi what it is !!! Exchange stories around this Freedom Fabric and what it means to become a community of spinners!

Learn to spin yarn with Mintu and Jamuna using a box charkha and a wheel.

This workshop is conducted by Mintu and Jamuna who are themselves from traditional weaving families in Assam and are now part of the Valley School community in Bangalore.

Cost of the workshop will be Rs 300 per head (maximum 5 participants per session)
