Charcoal is one of the oldest elements used and versatile medium to create some fabulous paintings. Charcoal is a form of dry art medium made of finely ground organic materials that are held together by a gum or wax binder.
Designed for absolute beginners, in these 2 days of guided workshop, we will cover the following:
* Introduction to the charcoal and required accessories
* Demonstrations and an explanation of every step including the drawing.
* You will learn how to make your own stump powder and method to use it.
* How to use charcoal for shading, blending and detailing.
* How to play with the tonality in the sketches to give them a realistic effect.
* We will focus especially on the effect of light and shade as well as on gradations and variation of charcoal.
* Creation of a realistic charcoal artwork.
Deliberately relaxing, intentionally directing your attention while creating beautiful artwork is an empowering and uplifting experience. This workshop takes your mind off other things – a chance to relax, de-stress, helps in hand eye coordination and stimulates creative thought flow.
Medium of Instruction: English. Also you will get an opportunity to learn Therapeutic Mandala Art for FREE from a pre-recorded session which you can watch anytime at your convenience.
No previous art experience needed – Adults and Children above 8 years are welcome.

The materials required for this workshop will cost you less than INR 300. The LIVE session will also be recorded and shared.
