This one-man storytelling performance is an exceptional art that takes years of practice and experience to perfect. “Apaharana – Two Tales to Tell”, is a solo dance musical production that tells a story of rebirth and connection between the goddesses Sita and Rukmini traversing through two eons (Tretayuga and Dvaparayuga). It has explored the life events of both Sita and Rukmini pivoting at an “Apaharana”, a kidnap. For Sita, the kidnap unfolds as a horror leaving a deep scar in Her soul, and for Rukmini as a liberation that leads Her to Lord Krishna himself! Chittapharana is a fusion of these two captivating art forms, showcasing the stunning beauty and power of storytelling and dance.
