Chouboli- A Modern Folk Epic :

Performed in the oral tradition of storytelling, this Hindi adaptation of a folk

tale (originally written in Rajasthani by Vijaydan Detha) is a funny, satirical

take on complexities of human life in its myriad forms. It weaves timeless, lyrical riddles

of ethical and philosophical dilemmas, and preferences, in a story within a story format.

The form of this tale is folk yet the content is modern and is layered with contemporary themes. 

The performance entertains and enthralls the audience with its eclectic mix of

fantasy and realism, magic and logic, and fact and fiction!
