Event Description

Our partner, The Alternative Story is a mental health startup based out of Bangalore. The organization believes in quality mental healthcare for all which is accessible and affordable. This includes mental healthcare being queer-affirmative, anti-caste, trauma-informed, and more focused on the psychosocial reasons for mental health concerns. Part of the proceeds from this event will go towards more free sessions for those who are marginalized. The Big Picture - Mental Health Workshop Art: Art can heal something therapists have known for a while. Sometimes when people can't express themselves through words, art can help. In this workshop, mental health professionals will help you create a piece of art with the help of your community. The therapist will guide you through prompts to create something that is yours and a reflection of your struggles.
