Todywalla Auctions, the renowned auctioneers of coins and paper money are expanding into Classical Indian Art with their debut auction. An auction comprising of Indian Miniature Paintings, bronze and stone sculptures and wood works.

The auction preview is travelling to Bangalore at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center and is on display from 16th to the 18th of February. With a talk by Mr. S. Murugan an art collector and scholar on South Indian Art. Mr. S. Murugan is the ADG of Bangalore and in his personal capacity will deliver a talk on the Arts of Mysuru at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center at 6.30pm on the 16th of February. The Preview / Exhibition will be on from 16th to the 18th of February

The auction is slated for 25th February 2022 in Mumbai at the Taj Mahal Palace.

Todywalla Auctions have done several coin auctions in Bangalore and all over the country for the last 2 decades. With this experience they have ventured in the Indian antiquity space curating a well rounded body of works showcasing South Indian Antiquities in the form of glass paintings, ritualistic objects such as the Kavadi Katta, a decorative lion used for temple processions and a fertility beam featuring lord Ganesha. Also in the sale are Pahari, Rajasthani, Deccani and East India Company school paintings. Indian sculptures from the Solanki period to Bronzes from the Pala period to Deccani Mukhalingas.
