Film Screening at Urban Solace: Connected Histories The ReReeti Foundation presents “Connected Histories: Sindhi Colony and the Partition of India”, a documentary of the stories and memories of the Sindhi community that migrated to Bangalore during the 1947 Partition. In this documentary, Tejshvi Jain, Founder-Director of ReReeti, takes the viewers through nostalgic stories of the Sindhi colony. She explores the residents’ notions of identity and home, their memories of tradition, and their experiences with the changing cityscape across two generations. Come join us for the screening on 23 September at 6 PM at Urban Solace Cafe to know your city and neighborhood just a little more.
