Event Description

Ever thought of how museums fix old letters, sketches or books without causing a lot of damage? Can a simple glue fix the tear? Would you like to know? Come and ask a conservator!

Conservators play a vital role in keeping culture and heritage alive for future generations. Join us for an interactive workshop with Nayana from the Conservation Department and get a behind-the-scenes look at the conservation processes used at MAP. Discover what a career in conservation means, look at the materials and techniques used by industry professionals and learn practical methods to preserve your own treasured items and artworks.

This session is conducted as part of our initiatives for young people (18 – 25 years old) to engage with and explore a career in the arts and culture sector.
