About Plankton 

Plankton Collective is a boutique animation film design studio based in Bangalore, India, specializing in short-format, handcrafted 2D animations and stop-motion films. Founded in 2018, the studio is the creative synergy of Fahad Faizal and Aditya Vipparthi—both alumni of the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID). With over a decade of individual experience in the animation and design industry, Fahad and Aditya joined forces to bring their shared vision of intimate, art-driven storytelling to life. Plankton Collective’s distinctive approach combines traditional techniques with contemporary storytelling to craft bespoke visual narratives. Over the years, the studio has partnered with a diverse range of clients worldwide, delivering thoughtful and visually compelling animations for commercials, music videos, brand campaigns, and more. At Plankton Collective, every frame is a labor of love, reflecting the studio’s dedication to creating animations that are not only visually striking but also emotionally resonant.

About Fahad Faizal

Fahad Faizal is an animation director and creative producer with a deep love for storytelling, design, and world-building. A graduate of NID, he co-founded Plankton Collective and Babakiki, studios known for their unique visual styles and design-led projects. With over 17 years in the industry, Fahad has worked across films, campaigns, and animated worlds - always driven by curiosity, collaboration, and the joy of creating work that connects with people.

About Aditya Vipparthi

Aditya Vipparthi is an amateur musical instrument player, a home cook, a carpentry enthusiast, keeper of sketch books, lover of all things handmade and last, and the least, a professional Animator/Director(of animation). On weekdays you'll find him working at Plankton Collective, a boutique animation studio that he co-founded.
