35 minutes | Documentary | English, French | English subtitles Directed by Annette Leday & Cyrille Larrieu Dancer, Choreographer, Director & Translator Annette Leday and Cyrille Larrieu, Film Director from France will present their book and film Dance India Today.

They expand on the survey on Indian contemporary dance, conducted by Annette, just before the Covid lockdowns. She conducted a series of interviews in India, with dancers and choreographers of contemporary and classical backgrounds. Along with Cyrille Larrieu, a film was eventually made that includes excerpts of interviews alternate with images of work and teaching as well as extracts of their creations. It presents some of the faces engaged in a renewal of the traditions and artistes of the new generation open to the world and to its many body and dance techniques.

They will engage in a conversation, moderated by Ranvir Shah, Founding Trustee, Prakriti Foundation. Following this, there will be a discussion with Jayachandran Palazhi, local dancers, choreographers and the audience.
