Event Description

A journey through time itself.

When an ancient art form breathes within contemporary spaces, it is reborn. Kuchipudi, originating in the villages in Andhra Pradesh, has found new life with Avijit Das.

This performance is an offering, a step in the unbroken rhythm of a tradition that has travelled across generations.  Through movement, music, and narrative, the performance reflects on how form, context, and audience have shaped Kuchipudi.

This event is a part of our programming to celebrate World Dance Day 2026, ‘The Many Lives of Dance’.
