Event Description

How do you identify ‘de-democratisers’and recognise the decline of democracy? Civil liberties activist Kavita Krishnan Krishnan examines the political strategies of leaders such as Trump, Xi, Putin and Modi, exploring how authoritarian regimes can employ similar tactics to restrict people’s freedom and political voice through fear, propaganda, misinformation and nationalism.

Join us on 26 September at 6:30 PM as Kavita Krishnan and Rachita Taneja discuss political inheritance, democratic values, and the political differences shaping societies across the globe.

Join us for the book launch of De-Democratisation: A Global Story with Kavita Krishnan and Rachita Taneja!
