Dead on Arrival is a play about what happens inside a long marriage when two people stop hearing each other. Not all at once, but slowly, in the ordinary and everyday moments without even realizing it.

Written by Akaash Jayaram, this is not a story about a dramatic collapse. It is about the other kind. The kind that looks, from the outside, like everything is fine.

What You Will Witness

You will enter one night in Bengaluru. A party. A bedroom. A conversation that took eight years to happen.

You will hear what he said, what she heard, and what neither of them said at all.

You will meet Minu. Not at a moment of crisis, but at the moment just before one. The moment when a person stops waiting for a better time to come and decides to make one.

This is a play about the words we say and the ones we can never take back.
