Deepak Verma presents an evening of flamenco guitar that brings the intensity, rhythm and emotional depth of Andalusian music to the concert stage.

Rooted in traditional flamenco forms and enriched by global influences, this solo performance showcases Deepak’s distinctive voice as a guitarist deeply immersed in the compás and duende (rhythm and soul) of Andalusian flamenco.

Based in India and performing internationally, Deepak Verma is recognised for introducing authentic flamenco to new audiences while building meaningful musical dialogue across cultures. His artistry reflects years of rigorous training in Spain, including extended study in Jerez, Sevilla, Madrid, Cádiz and Granada, where he absorbed flamenco at its source.

Deepak has trained with leading flamenco masters such as Amir John Haddad (El Amir), Chicuelo, Joni Jimenez, Jose Galvez, Alfredo Lagos, Eduardo Rebollar, and Juan del Gastor of the legendary Gitano family of Sevilla. He has also interacted with Rubem Dantas, the influential percussionist who transformed modern flamenco rhythm.

His collaborations span genres and continents, working with artists including A.R. Rahman, Kailash Kher, Shekhar Ravijani, Igor Bezget, Mahesh Tinaiker (Indus Creed), Sid Bhatia, and numerous flamenco dancers, singers and percussionists from Spain and beyond. He has also performed for high-profile international events, including the Bacardi promotion tour for Patrón Tequila.
