Amorphous, has the aesthetics of an autobiography of a dancer, Ronita Mookerji documented by Priyanshi Vasani who tells her story through the use of the lens, both talking about gender and gender fluidity, self-identity, about female gaze on female physicality( body), a piece that talks about generational stories of women and its embodiment, their lived realities of power and vulnerability. Amorphous which literally means something that cannot be defined, will be explored through the filters of power and vulnerability, gender and identity created in and by the society/structure, 'being' and elemental states, with the dancer and film-maker questioning themselves and putting forth what they would like the audience to watch and choose how to be watched. The performance involves an amalgamation of film and live improvisation, so be ready to be immersed in the story-telling of a female dancer and female filmmakers.

Play Practice Residency, India RELAX INTO YOUR BEING This piece stems from the courage of owning, acknowledging and speaking up about your past, your traumas and fear. It sees them as a progression towards healing, healing through acceptance. Our social structures are complex webs of suppression and held voices. Suppression due to gender, class, caste, and race finds relatability with our collective conscience; we have numerous stories of suppression among us. This piece aims to give a voice, strength and heal them by empowering them with acknowledgment of our fears. It aims to give identity through the journey of our personal histories. The subject gains relevance in our complex and could be oppressive social structures. And offers hope and empowerment by destigmatizing the acceptance of our traumas.
