Trust is one of the most vital yet fragile elements of society. In an era of war, political division, Dreamgirl offers a fresh and urgent perspective on how trust is built, broken, and repaired. With playfulness and depth, the performance brings people together in a shared experience that is both timely and necessary.

Created with the help of the award-winning comedian Elf Lyons (Winner: Best Comedy, Adelaide Fringe 2024), Dreamgirl blends storytelling and audience interaction to challenge perceptions of trust.

About the artist:

Karen has 15 years of experience in the theater and film industry. She works in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Her works address current social issues, using clowning, physical theatre, and satire as tools. Currently, she is writing feature films and a TV series. Karen is an actress, screenwriter, and director, educated at Westerdals College and Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
