About the Earthlore Band
Earthlore Band is a unique musical collective from India that powerfully fuses indigenous heritage with contemporary techniques. Rooted in the traditions of communities like the Jenu Kuruba and Paniya of Karnataka and Kerala, the band features tribal musicians who underwent a rigorous nine-month fellowship program with professional mentorship, supported by the Tata Trusts. Their repertoire is a powerful expression of cultural narratives and traditional rituals, embodying the enduring spirit and deep, ancient connection to nature held by their communities.
