Event Description

This body of work brings together around twenty monotone paintings inspired by the artist’s visits to temples and mosques across India, alongside charcoal works that reflect the intricate Hoysala temple sculptures of Turuvekere and Nagalapura in Karnataka.

As a tribute to the Indian Air Force, the exhibition also includes a special section of military aviation paintings, an evocative attempt to revisit and cast into form the artist’s memories from his years of service.
