Ecstasy explores both the highs and lows of life’s journey, weaving together raw emotions, powerful rhythms, and mesmerizing melodies.

About Lakkshya:

Born from a shared passion for music and a drive to push artistic boundaries, Lakkshya was founded by KJ Diliip, a virtuoso on the violin, and Ila Diliip, an exceptional violinist and vocalist. They were soon joined by long-time friend and percussion maestro Sunaad Anoor, whose mastery of the khanjira and hybrid percussion added intricate rhythms and dynamic energy. Later, Diptangshu Bhowmik brought his expertise in piano and keyboards, enriching the ensemble’s harmonic depth and unique sound.

The core of Lakkshya’s debut album, Ecstasy, features KJ Diliip, Ila Diliip, Sunaad Anoor, and Aman Mahajan. Inspired by their European tour, which took them across the Netherlands, Germany, and France, the album reflects deep musical exploration, cultural exchange, and the influence of incredible artists they met along the way.

Blending traditional Carnatic sounds with contemporary influences, the album features collaborations with renowned artists such as Mohini Dey on “The Way Home” and “Bhavani”, Achal Murthy on “Envy”, and BC Manjunath on the title track.

Produced by Pramath Kiran, the six-track album is a sonic odyssey, immersing listeners in a world of emotion, energy, and joy. From deeply stirring moments to vibrant, uplifting rhythms, Ecstasy is a celebration of raw, powerful emotions—both profound and playful—capturing the essence of connection, freedom, and the exhilaration of pure musical expression.
