Edible Routes is a sustainable urban farming organization, that enables access to safe & nutritious food, helps expand green spaces through development of food gardens within cities and builds capacity on ecology-based food-systems. Edible Routes is organising a Kitchen Gardening Workshop: Sow and You Shall Reap! on 21st August 2022 in collaboration with the Bangalore Creative Circus. In this 2-hour interactive workshop (11.00 am – 1.00 pm), Kapil Mandawewala, Founder and CEO, Edible Routes and Master Gardener will explain how you can Design and create your own kitchen garden in any space – balcony, roof top, backyard or even a window sill Easily grow vegetables, leafy greens and herbs using natural farming methods Hands-on activities will include identifying seeds, making your potting mix and plant your own seeds/sapling This workshop will help you develop confidence and skills to develop a green thumb, to grow and use fresh, seasonal and wholesome produce in your meals. An added bonus - you will take back your own potted sapling!
