About the workshop: This workshop is designed for both performing arts practitioners as well as people who are curious and aspiring to experience theatre. This is an intensive lab to explore the performer's physicality, explore and break your limitations, know your self and advance in your characterization and bodily presence using biomechanics and physical movement methodologies. Mime & Movement theatre is a primary method of storytelling using bodily movement, gestures and facial expressions. Mime and Movement Theatre is a form of silent performance art of theatre that makes the use of suggestions, gestures and actions to communicate a narrative. It is an art form that communicates via implying actions. Mime is extremely significant in the modern-day art of drama. For instance, it helps in bringing out the talent of expressions and body movements essential for drama.
