Event Description

Equilibrium, the city’s leading climbing station, is set to mark the opening of its newest facility, Equilibrium Whitefield, with EQUINOX 2025, a full-day celebration of climbing, community, and culture. Scheduled for Saturday, 29th November 2025, the launch event will bring together climbers, fitness enthusiasts, and like-minded individuals for a high-energy competition filled with music, food, and immersive brand experiences.

EQUINOX 2025 promises a dynamic mix of movement, featuring five qualification rounds followed by a finale. Participants will take on 35 boulder problems, each graded between 1 and 35 points, with only their top ten scores counting toward the final tally. The competition will unfold across two categories - Amateur and Open (Men & Women) with the top four climbers from each advancing to the finals. Adding to the thrill are side challenges like Campus, Pull-Up, and Dead Hang contests, open to all attendees who want to test their strength and skill in a fun, social setting.

The winners will be rewarded with custom-designed trophies, exciting gear prizes, and café vouchers, while every participant will receive a curated goodie bag packed with event-branded merchandise, climbing essentials, and partner products. The day will also feature live DJ sets and upbeat energy throughout, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of movement and community.

With over 600 attendees expected, including 200+ active participants, the event welcomes climbers of all skill levels - from those discovering the sport for the first time to seasoned athletes from across the country looking to push their limits, offering everyone a chance to connect and compete.
