Bangalore Creative Circus has curated an exciting group of farmers and producers that will be selling fresh fruits, veggies, mushrooms, and also homemade bread, jams, dips, ferments, and more! The market is an initiative to connect us to our source of food, while promoting those that grow food with utmost care for our health as well as the planet. If you fancy a bit of a mix, you will also be able to explore fresh produce, beautiful vegan desserts, traditional games, information and products for sustainable living, urban farming. Additionally, we will have music, farm to table food, an arts corner for kids (and adults!), and everyone's favourite section - Pet Adoption. Come along with your friends and family! This time they also have an Artisan Market by Flourish at Blr Creative Circus. Handmade, ethically sourced, eco-friendly products. Flourish aims to impact producer livelihoods by bringing their stories and products to conscious consumers worldwide. A single purchase starts a cycle, a ripple effect, that starts with you. For the artisans and small producer groups, choices keep shrinking due to one challenge after another: lack of visibility/access, inability to compete, and lack of sustainable livelihood; a consumer’s mindful choices can change that. Flourish is bringing this experience of shopping by impact, bridging the gap between the creator and the consumer with The Artisan Market at Bangalore Creative Circus on September 4th, 2022. It is a deep dive into the stories of the makers, and an array of their creations, specially curated for this event. With the presence of artisans from a few makers there, a consumer can interact with them, learn more about their craft and make a truly mindful informed decision about their purchase. Flourish is a global e-commerce platform curated with ethically sourced environment-friendly products across categories like apparel, jewelry, home decor, toys, and accessories. The Flourish framework is designed to make the consumer aware of where the products come from, how they're made, and their impact on creating sustainable livelihoods for the producers and creators. Amongst the many ethical makers joining us there, are WHEbyAbira with jewelry handmade from repurposed wood and fabric, Miharu with Dhokra craft, P1000 with bags made out of textile waste by women artisans, Greenfootprint with eco-friendly stationery, The Second life with upcycled artisanal stationery, Pomegrenade and Parijat with eco-friendly apparel and many more.
