Event Description

Bangalore Creative Circus have curated an exciting group of farmers and producers that will be selling fresh fruits, veggies, mushrooms, and also homemade jams, dips, ferments, snacks, and more! The market, organized on the first Sunday of every month, is an initiative to connect us to our source of food, while promoting those that grow food with utmost care for our health as well as the planet.

There will also be live music performances, pouring art workshop, clay workshop, pet adoption, and delicious food at their in-house farm to table restaurant.

Additionally, to celebrate World Localisation Day, they are hosting a free screening of Local Futures' new film 'Planet Local - A Quiet Revolution'. The 50min film is both a powerful critique of economic globalization and a celebration of the kaleidoscope of grassroots initiatives that together form a growing movement for change: away from corporate rule towards the true democracy that more local markets make possible. The screening will take place immediately after the Farmers' Market at 3pm, and will be followed by a discussion.
