Event Description

This interactive session, guided by Rajeshwari, offers a sneak peek into how everyday movements can naturally transform into dance.

Dance grants the body and mind a rare chance to discover freedom within structure. Through technique, precision, and poise, Rajeshwari will help participants experience this harmony in a fun, welcoming environment. The workshop is open to all age groups.

Whether you already love to dance or are simply curious about how classical dance training works, come join us and give it a try!

About the facilitator:

Bharatanatyam has shaped Rajeshwari Aravind’s world for as long as she can remember. What began as a childhood initiation grew into an enduring pursuit marked by constant exploration and refinement.

Rajeshwari’s approach to dance has always been both expansive and immersive. But her formal training has been multidimensional.

She has completed a master’s degree in dance at Sastra University, Thanjavur, under Dr Padma Subrahmanyam. She continues her advanced Nattuvangam training with Sheejith Krishna and pursues Carnatic vocal music with Sathish Kumar, Chennai. For Rajeshwari, dance remains a journey of quiet transformation - one that evolves yet remains a constant pulse of her life.
