Event Description

The beauty of Ghazals comes from its lyricism and stories. Dr. Abhinav takes that one step further by curating shows by bringing together storytelling and a musical performance. This concert is an ode to revolution and politics around love and relationships, love contested by the society and legends who went beyond the binary and loved on their terms, through Ghazals, Nazms, Sufi and some semi-classical songs. Supported by: Performer Abhinav Musician & Storyteller Abhinav is a Hindustani Classical vocalist and a PhD in Indian Musicology from the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, DU. With his journey in performance beginning at age 14, he has performed around the globe and is an artist whose music ranges from classical, semi-classical, ghazal, and Sufi to retro Hindi film songs.
