Friday Night Unplugged @ Urban Solace is one of the oldest experiences in Urban Solace and has been the platform for the launch of hundreds of musicians and artists with a desire to have their voices, their melodies and their music heard since 2010.

ABOUT THE MUSICIAN: Nidhi Chacko

Nidhi is a singer, songwriter and poet who has been writing poetry and songs from an early age while she was still in school. Her work is inspired by her experiences, thoughts, feelings, emotions and her authentic connection with life. Writing music from as early as 2005, Bangalore-based, Kerala-born pop artist who studied music in Singapore. Nidhi released her debut EP Super Magic Fairy Wings in 2016, showcasing a melodramatic pop and rock sound inspired by the likes of Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and Linkin Park. Nidhi recorded her first EP at Nathaniel School of Music, Bangalore and released it in 2016 with some songs she wrote from 2005- 2015. This included songs like Disappear, Super Magic Fairy Wings and Pictures Of You. Music Videos for these songs were recorded in Singapore. Her song "Sleep At Night" was premiered on Rolling Stone, India. When Nidhi performs live, it’s usually just her and her guitar where she tunes out from all the noise in the world connecting easily and effortlessly with the soul of her audience.
