Event Description

Frizzell Dsouza is a Mangalore-bred, Bangalore-based pop artist/singer-songwriter traversing sounds across acoustic pop and soft rock. She was awarded the 'Best Pop Artist/Singer-Songwriter' in India by The Indian Music Diaries, gaining her recognition as one of India’s finest upcoming talents. She debuted in 2020 and has since released 2 EPs and 7 singles. Her writing is inspired by a mix of contemporary artists like Hozier, John Mayer, Dodie, and Lizzy McAlpine as well as timeless artists she grew up listening to such as Norah Jones and Ed Sheeran. Since graduating from architecture school in 2022, she has toured across 11 cities in India, making it to renowned festivals like Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Hornbill Music Festival, and Zomaland. "In My Asymmetry" is Frizzell's compelling sophomore EP that blends the warmth of acoustic pop with subtle electronic textures. Across six tracks, the Bangalore-based artist explores themes of idealism, self-reassurance, friendship, and love's essence, crafting a sonic landscape that is both introspective and uplifting. In its essence, this EP is this 24-year-old’s exploration in the grey areas of existence, celebrating the beauty found in the spaces between the extremes.
