Event Description

Campa-Cola. Hum Log. Sachin Tendulkar.

If these words evoke the nostalgia of youth, you will resonate deeply with Tempest on River Silent. If not, you might even learn more.

Devavratt and his friends navigate the rapidly changing landscape of a modernising nation, moving from school and college corridors of the 70s and 80s to the corporate offices of the 21st century. Their dreams and challenges unfold alongside India’s own. Through their conversations and debates, the novel explores nationalism, cultural pride, love, friendship, and what it means to live a full life inside a country’s story.

Discussing his new book, Sandeep Khanna will be in conversation with Sadhna Rao and Stanley Carvalho, who will anchor the discussion. The session will open to an audience Q&A.
