Gender Bender is a partnership between Sandbox Collective and the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan and is supported by Bangalore International Center.

Schedule: Day 1 | December 9 11:30 am | Exhibition featuring the works of ten Gender Bender Grantees opens 11: 30 am -7:30 pm | The Gender Bender Library | A pop-up library curated by Amulya Shruthi featuring the works of women/queer writers and artists 11:30 am – 7:30 pm | Falana Fotowale | A professional photo studio created especially for Gender Bender 11:30 am – 7:30 pm | Karaoke Bar | Come sing along, because we have a specially curated list of evergreens for you 11:30 am – 7:30 pm | Shared Readings | By the Students of Mount Carmel College 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm | Your Life in a Song | An Interactive session of music with Muqtalif featuring Aparupa Gupta, Shreyas Vishwaroop and Dhiraj Bannerjea 7:30 pm | Where did she go? | A journey through music and storytelling by The Aahvaan Project, New Delhi. Performers: Vedi, Pakhi, Bala and Sachin.

About Sandbox Collective: Sandbox Collective is an arts collective, envisioned as a creative and fluid space for artistic exchange. We curate, produce and tour performances and arts festivals and act as a catalyst facilitating meaningful collaborations nationally and internationally between artists, cultural agencies and arts spaces.
