Gender Bender will showcase the works of the 10 selected grantees as well as host performances, workshops and talks. The jury that selected the short list for this year- Afrah Shafiq is a Multi and new media artist based in Goa whose works have been showcased across India and Internationally. Vqueeram Aditya Sahai is a gender non-conforming writer, researcher, poet, vocal queer activist, and independent academic based in Delhi. Rajyashri Goody is a Pune-based artist whose art practice explores everyday and historic instances of Dalit resistance. Mary Therese Kurkalang is a cultural curator, working across the Arts, Culture, Publishing and Social sectors since 1995.
