Ghazal wali diary, By Muqtalif Muqtalif (pronounced Mukhtalif), which means different, is formed by three very different people who have found a way to remember some musicians and songs that mustn’t gather dust on the www pages! These are songs that are meant to celebrate the heartaches and the glorious mistakes that now can’t be unmade. Life in its entire package includes colours of gloom that are either kept inside old diaries or stacked above old furniture in the attic. It is their attempt to clean the dust off the old diary and feel the now yellowed pages and smell the air that once was new.. Ghazals as a genre has gathered over its extended journey, many different colours to play with for an artist. It holds within itself the power to be a mirror, not just for the artist rendering it but also the listeners. Muqtalif has found a way to fit the stories of today to songs of yesterday, aiming to draw some simple triangles in the current performance spaces that have far discovered Polygons and conic sections!
