Event Description

Aparupa is a Bangalore bred Bengali, who has been living off the luck from being born to a musical family. She has about thousand evenings to her credit spent on singing, composing and writing for and with her father, mother and sister. All those many undiscovered household projects resulted in her flowing easily to music. She was placed first among a sizeable crowd of contestants in Karnataka State Bal shree awards. She has performed in the august presence of the former president of India, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. She has had the opportunity to share stage with eminent musicians like S. P. Balasubramanium and Bombay Jayshree's solo concerts held in Bangalore. Her enthusiasm to create music and to work with different artists has led her to be involved in various interesting projects involving genre explorations and language travel. She is also the lead singer of the blues/folks band Post Office Town.
