Glitch in the Myth is a multi disciplinary departure from the overtold Ramayana. The play takes you on a journey from Mithila to Lanka, with Sita, her Sakhi, and a slew of other characters both strange and familiar; a journey teeming with sacred sisterhoods, unlikely alliances, and a twist in the tale that sparks revolution. Glitch in the Myth is performed by two artists: a storyteller and a musician. The show blends Bharatanatyam movements and vocabulary and Indian classical music, offering the audience a multi dimensional performance.
About the artists:
Anoushka Zaveri is a writer, dancer, and performer from Mumbai. She began her theatre career with Thespo India, a national-level youth theatre movement. A Bharatnatyam dancer with 10+ years of learning & performing experience, she employs movement-based techniques to share contemporary stories.

It has been invited to perform at the international Serendipity Arts Festival 2024 in Goa, amongst other prestigious platforms.
Anoushka also works as an artist in Mumbai-based productions: tafreehwale’s 'I Killed My Mother/It Wasn't My Fault', director Tanvi Shah’s experimental 'Unshared Childhoods', and most recently, Faezeh Jalali’s farcical ‘Runaway Brides’. When she is not on stage, Anoushka dabbles in theatre production and continues her rigorous training in classical dance.
