The third edition of The Green Literature Festival [GLF] (www.greenlitfest.com) opens at Century Club, Cubbon Park, Bengaluru on 25th November from 10AM-6pm. As India’s only festival dedicated exclusively to all forms of literature on the environment, this promises to be a fiesta for eco-enthusiasts, nature lovers and readers of all ages and tastes. The festival will host more than 20 authors, more than a dozen stalls on sustainable products, workshops by WWF India, The Habitats Trust and leading story tellers and writers. The organizers expect a big turnout from schools, colleges, eco-clubs, and lovers of literature, film makers, photographers and more. GLF is much more than an annual green literature festival. It organizes conversations all through the year and publishes a monthly newsletter that includes conversations on new books and emerging themes. Since its launch in June 2021, GLF has hosted more than 100 authors, film makers and photographers. Through active social media reach, GLF has more than 100,000 impressions. It is leading a movement in India on writing, reading, filming and all forms of literature on the environment.
