About the Artist: Guitar Prasanna Prasanna is globally known as the pioneer of Indian carnatic guitar while blending it with jazz, rock and other styles.Prasanna has performed or recorded with AR Rahman, Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Ilaiyaraaja, Alex Skolnick (Testament), Victor Wooten, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Chris Adler (Lamb of God), Aniruddh Ravichander, Anton Fig (Kiss), Dweezil Zappa, Trilok Gurtu, Omar Hakim, Airto Moreira (Return to Forever) and several other masters. He is the quintessential Indian Renaissance man. A pioneer in performing Carnatic music on the guitar, an engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, a composer for award winning films, an internationally acclaimed guitarist in contemporary Jazz, Rock and Blues, a Magna-Cum-Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, and an entrepreneurial visionary who established a world class music college that blends the Indian Gurukula system of learning with contemporary western college education pedagogy. Vishnu R - Navtar Vishnu R is an award-winning Indian Classical & Jazz performer and inventor of the new, unique 9-string instrument NAVTAR (patented). He is a Fellow of the US Govt State Department and a Mentor of the British Council India-UK Exchange, performed twice at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, and has collaborated with leading 5-time GRAMMY-winning artists such as Michael League (Snarky Puppy), as well as Indian Classical legends like Padmavibhushan Umayalapuram K.
