HasyaLasya
is a one-hour Mohiniyattam and Bharatanrityam production that humorously reimagines goddesses Lakshmi and Parvathi. Known for their divinity, they are portrayed here as witty and playful, engaging in banter while teasing their consorts, Vishnu and Shiva.
The performance opens with graceful movements, setting the stage for humor and charm. Lakshmi teases Shiva's eccentric ways, while Parvathi mocks Vishnu's calm demeanor. Their exchanges, filled with wit and humor, create a light-hearted atmosphere.
Blending Mohiniyattam's elegance with Bharatanrityam's precision, the choreography, set to music by Shri Ajeesh Menon, captivates audiences. The climax features a playful dance duel, culminating in harmony as the goddesses embrace their divine grace.
HasyaLasya celebrates humor, grace, and the timeless beauty of classical dance, leaving viewers with joy and divine bliss.
