Event Description

Swar Sangam is a Kolkata-based autonomous, non-profit institution established in 1966 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. It offers courses in the performing and visual arts affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti.

Programmes include Diploma courses in Art & Design and Drawing & Painting, as well as Certificate courses in Visual Art and Sculpture. Students work across mediums such as watercolour, gouache, tempera, pen and ink, collage, and recycled materials. The institution also organises seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and field trips to encourage practical exposure.

Founded in line with the vision of B. K. Birla, Swar Sangam aims to foster excellence in the liberal arts and nurture creativity and imagination.
