Go from doom-scrolling to decoding – uncover the pop culture politics behind trends, memes, and reels with clarity. Unpack your feed with art history hacks, cultural theory, and a critic’s sass. 2 hours, no jargon only smarts. The algorithm won’t see this coming.
Why do we doom-scroll against our doom? Why does the Instagram feed consume us, even when we’re the ones curating it? Why must our social media always outshine our social reality? In this workshop, we’ll unravel the strange logic of our digital desires, using tools from psychoanalysis, cultural theory, and art criticism. We’ll critique not just Instagram but ourselves—how we scroll, what we seek, and why we can’t look away.
