Event Description

Come discover how comics can be absurd, funny, odd, wise, and a great medium for self-expression!In this fun, collaborative comics-making workshop, participants will take inspiration from Aditi's graphic novel —The Complete Shampoo and Daddy !, a tale of two friends navigating the anxieties and awkwardness of everyday existence— to create their own short comics.

Aditi will also be signing copies of her book and answering questions about comics, life, and anything else you'd like to ask her about.

No prior knowledge of comics, expertise in drawing or even story ideas are necessary and all materials will be provided.

Bonus: You'll also have the chance to find out more about independent publishing from Ashwitha Jayakumar, co-founder of Indian Summer Press, Aditi's publisher and partner-in-facilitation of the workshop.
