Can you turn trash into treasure?

Led by 6th and 7th graders from Ramagondanahalli Government School, this shadow puppetry workshop is all about having fun while helping the Earth.

You’ll create your own puppets, invent exciting stories about sustainability, and put on a shadow theatre performance. It’s playful, it’s creative, and you’ll show others how reusing simple materials can make a big difference for our planet!

Note: Do you have extra paper bags at home? Bring them along!

Around the World in 50 Sundays is a journey that begins, not with a ticket, but with opening a book. Pranesh is an educator, researcher, and facilitator with a strong focus on theatre and storytelling, particularly in his work with children and adolescents. He believes in the transformative power of theatre and innovative educational methodologies to foster social change. Pranesh has gained experience across the social, private, and government education sectors.

Femy Joseph
Educator
Femy Joseph is an educator working with Grades 5 to 10. She is the Section Coordinator and Subject Lead for Social Studies at Ramagondanahalli Government School, part of the Inventure Community Schools. She is deeply passionate about integrating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and performing arts into the social studies curriculum.
