Join us at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru, on 19 June 2025, between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, as we observe National Reading Day with an hour of quiet reading, in resonance with the national theme — 'India Reads, India Rises'.

Visitors are welcome to pick up a book from our art library and immerse themselves in thought-provoking literature on art and artists.

This curated selection includes titles such as Masters of Indian Paintings (Vol. 1 & 2), Global Art of Modern Indian Painters, Abanindranath Tagore, How to Read a Modern Painting, Dictionary of Art (Set), 20th Century Indian Sculpture, Elite Collects of Modern & Contemporary Indian Art —and many valuable resources for art enthusiasts, students, and scholars alike.
