About Stalvart John Stalvart

John found his home in electronic music about a decade back when he discovered artists like Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, and Robert Miles. After taking the plunge into dance music, he found appreciation from audiences across the globe in no time thanks to his radio shows which include Boxout FM (India), Frisky Radio (NY), Afterhours FM (SFO), Tenzi.fm (India), IMRTD Worldwide (NY), Powermix fm Radio (UK) and Radio Schizoid (Mumbai), 1worldtrance among many others. Stalvart have a monthly radio show at India’s first electronic music community radio boxout.fm called “Dynamite Disco Club”. This show takes listeners to take a closer look at the roots of soul, funk, disco and house. It’s a chance to go back to the basics of Chicago house, Detroit funk and Philly soul scene while keeping it fresh. He also launched his own “Dynamite Disco Club” nights which have become a regular feature in major Indian cities.

About Hamza Rahimtula

The New Delhi-based artist, Hamza Rahimtula is a DJ, producer, and record label head has carved out a fine reputation for purveying club-ready sonics with roots firmly planted in the authentic club sounds of the UK and US. Rahimtula can be considered something of a pioneer: a fully committed artist powering against the grain to present his distinct musical vision, from India to the world. Having lived in cities including New York, Paris, and Boston, Hamza was exposed to some of the pinnacle underground dance players during his time spent overseas.

Danny Tenaglia, Terry Francis, Dave Mothersole, and DJ Heather are among those who helped inspire his onward journey, igniting within him a fiercely burning flame fuelled by the deepest funk-flecked and tribal-leaning dance sounds. Coupled with this, his long-standing fascination with indigenous global rhythms have come to exemplify his sound, and the Wind Horse label he runs has firmly established itself as a benchmark supplier of fusion dance grooves. Garnering heavyweight support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Peter Kruder, Tom Findlay and Quentin Harris, the label's prolific output is supremely polished and routinely excellent.

About Sourfunk

SourFunk is the brainchild of Bangalore-based DJ, Vaibhav S Narayan. Born into a family with a love for the creative arts, he grew up in an environment that encouraged him to explore his love for sounds and find music in the everyday humdrum of life. His experimental music journey took a solid turn when DJ and electronic music producer Stalvart John took him under his wing. He embraced soul, funk, and disco under his mentor's guidance, which paved the way for his current moniker - SourFunk.

His diverse and eclectic taste in music is ever-evolving and is not bound to genres. He has even performed at the Cosmic Disco Bar at Magnetic Fields Festival 2019 (Alsisar, Rajasthan) as a part of the Dynamite Disco Club crew. Even during the uncertain times of the pandemic, SourFunk engaged his audience with his monthly podcast - ‘Discolated Shoulder’.

About Yum Vee

Never afraid to go too deep, YumVee (a.k.a Akhil MV) triggers a joyous feedback loop that infects the dancefloor. Having grown up on a combination of funk music (James Brown, Parliament), European electronica (Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan) all which became infused with his own love for both krautrock and psychedelic music, YumVee ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks; all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling disco & house beats. He loves to take the partygoers through a rollercoaster of emotions, via an electrifying dancefloor journey of exciting peaks and deep, cerebral lows.
